Really enjoying this series. It's more focused on the lore which interests me a bit more than the battles. Also love how the villains are ultra competent this time.

Using an electric magnet pokemon to disrupt communications to test their responses, while other pokemon wear little digital cameras to spy on the party, the villain is actually thinking creatively with their pokemon's abilities.

They feel like the organised team rocket from early days of Black and White.

Doubtful, this anime goes hard on the mysteries of the Pokémon world, and to be honest... we had 25 years of Ash and Gym battles, I think we're all good in that aspect.

Yet about every Galar-centric character/Pokémon has made an appearance either in the season proper or miniseries. Except for Calyrex and the Horses.

in other type of media yes, like twilight wings, but in the main series, a lot of gym leaders didnt get their spotlight :c
and a lot of galar pokemon just appeared like so random, so every trip to galar its a good opportunity :v

I'm really loving this new Pokemon anime so I was hoping it wasn't going to take a full season break or anything like that. At least two week's isn't too bad... although I'm already super missing it from my lineup of things to watch~! (>_<;)

As mush as it wasnt a possibility in an anime like Pokemon, both Ash and Liko had a parent that was yet to be shown.
now that both Liko's father and Liko's mother appeared, its totally confirmed that Liko isnt related to Ash.

At this point I don't even miss the old series. Also is that the world map on wall of their meeting room? Could that be first time we see whole pokemon world?

So many of the theorized "world maps" for Pokemon online look so absurd (like a random jigsaw of game maps)... it would be nice if we could finally get something more official and natural looking to reference, for sure.

And yeah... I don't miss the old Pokemon series at all. I always kinda' resented that they HAD to stick Satoshi (Ash) in as the main character every season for an unrealistic eternity of time.

I hope this starts a trend of having new POV characters for Pokemon each time they have a successive series.

Suddenly this episode became lore heavy and I loved it! Now we know more about this Legendary Adventurer and his Pokémon team, and we also got to meet our future bad guy... seems that he might be a tough one considering he used one of the most powerful weapons ever, information.

Also... I love the fact that we got to see Liko's mom, which means she's officially the first MC in the franchise to feature both parents! Now that's quite the feat, also, I have a hunch that this anime will take us in a tour across all Pokemon regions... and I'm sure both Paldea and Galar are the tip of the iceberg, unless we'll be going back and forth between those two regions... and if that happens, then it would be a huge waste.

You know the legend said six when the crew choose to go it was exactly six, so I think each crew member will maybe catch one of the Pokémon from the book and next episode we might see roy catch his first Pokémon
